Ancient cave monastery complex discovered in Sataniv, Ukraine

A thousand-year-old cave monastery complex, possibly founded by monks, has been discovered in Sataniv, Ukraine. The cave, part of the Holy Trinity Monastery, features natural and man-made chambers including a corridor, cells, and a church, with evidence suggesting it dates back to the Middle Ages. Legends attribute its founding to monks from Mount Athos or Kyiv, though these are unconfirmed. The monastery is documented from at least the 16th century.
