AMD hints at new Steam Deck revision with Ryzen Z2 chips

AMD has announced new Ryzen Z2 chips, which may be used in a future Steam Deck revision. VideoCardz reports that these chips could lead to a new model or an upgrade to existing hardware. The Z2 chip lineup includes Z2 Extreme, Z2, and Z2 Go, with the first two being potential candidates for the Steam Deck. However, the performance improvements may not meet Valve's expectations for a significant upgrade. Valve's designer, Lawrence Yang, stated that the company is developing a new Steam Deck but is waiting for a major performance leap before releasing it.
