AMC Theatres updates Stubs A-List program to boost movie attendance

AMC Theatres has updated its Stubs A-List program to encourage more frequent visits. Starting January 1, 2025, AMC Stubs Insider members can achieve a new status, AMC Stubs Premiere GO!, by seeing eight movies or earning 5,000 points in a year. This new tier offers similar benefits to the paid Premiere GO! status, such as waived ticket fees and drink upgrades, without the annual fee. The change aims to reward moviegoers based on their attendance and points rather than just membership fees. The AMC Stubs A-List remains for frequent movie-goers, allowing up to three movies a week in premium formats. The new Premiere GO! tier targets occasional visitors to boost loyalty and repeat attendance.
