Matteo Ambrosini, a 23-year-old cyclist, won the 71st Trofeo Matteotti under-23 race. He finished solo, securing his second victory of the season. Ambrosini broke away from a group of cyclists, eventually leading with teammates and another competitor. He built a significant lead, ultimately finishing nearly a minute ahead of the second-place finisher. The race, held in Marcialla, Italy, saw 174 starters and 65 finishers.
