Amazon alters Shopper Panel rewards program, shoppers express frustration

Amazon is changing its Shopper Panel rewards program starting November 1. Previously, customers earned £5 monthly for uploading ten receipts. Now, they will earn 10p per receipt, requiring 50 uploads to reach the same maximum reward. Shoppers expressed frustration over the new system, with many commenting on social media about the increased effort needed for the same reward. The change was communicated through a notification in the app. Consumer expert Martyn James noted that this adjustment comes during a time when many are focused on upcoming sales, suggesting it may not be well-received amid rising living costs.
