Alpine will challenge Ferrari with a hybrid hypercar

Alpine plans to challenge Ferrari with a 1,000-horsepower hybrid hypercar, aiming for a 2028 release. The hypercar will feature a V6 turbo engine paired with two electric motors, one for each front wheel, similar to the Ferrari SF90. This announcement follows the unveiling of Alpine's first crossover, the A390. The new hypercar is intended to elevate the Alpine brand, serve as an innovation lab, and be a profitable venture, with five new electric models planned by 2030.
