Alouettes quarterback Davis Alexander trains with limitations after knee injury

Alouettes quarterback Davis Alexander is training in a limited capacity due to a knee injury sustained in a preseason game. Alexander felt pain in his right knee after a hit during the Alouettes' first preseason game. While tests showed it wasn't as serious as initially feared, he is still experiencing discomfort and is not participating in all drills. Coach Jason Maas stated the injury will not prevent Alexander from playing, and he is expected to be at 80% capacity. Other quarterbacks, Anthony Brown Jr. and Arnaud Desjardins, are also expected to play in the next preseason game.
