Alle-Kiski Valley community events include holiday programs and children's activities

The Alle-Kiski Area HOPE Center is launching its annual Adopt A Family program, allowing volunteers to donate Christmas gifts to families in need. Gifts should be wrapped and delivered to the center in Tarentum. The Freeport Area High School Swim Team is hosting a Polar Express pajama party for children aged 3 to 10 on Thursday. The event includes pizza, popcorn, and a movie, with a fee of $25 for the first child and $15 for siblings. Various community events are scheduled, including a blood drive at Trinity United Methodist Church on December 12 and a Christmas craft show in Gilpin on December 3. Reservations and ticket purchases are required for some events.
