Aligarh residents protest municipal corporation over uncleared drains

Residents protested against the Aligarh Municipal Corporation by hoisting black flags on their homes due to unaddressed demands for drain cleaning and underground construction. The protest, called by the Joint Labor Farmers Front, highlighted persistent waterlogging and safety hazards from the uncleansed drain in the Nagla Patwari area. Officials stated that underground drain construction is underway, with instructions issued to the contractor to expedite the work and resolve the issue for residents.
