Alien: Romulus Star David Jonsson Shares What He Knows About Sequel

David Jonsson, star of Alien: Romulus, says he has no new information about the sequel's development, confirming he knows only as much as the public. The sequel to the 2024 hit is confirmed but lacks a director. Jonsson, who played the popular android Andy, expressed his love for the project and hope to continue the story. Fede Álvarez will not return as director but will produce alongside Ridley Scott, with the script and story already written. The sequel follows Alien: Romulus's success, which grossed $350.865 million worldwide. Álvarez is passing the directorial torch to someone new, while other Alien projects, including a prequel and the TV series Alien: Earth, are also in development.
