Aldi Süd plans to cut 1250 jobs at its Mülheim an der Ruhr headquarters by the end of 2027. The majority of these layoffs will impact the international IT and digital division, Aldi DX, as the company optimizes processes and structures. A voluntary program will also be implemented. This follows previous job cuts announced in January and the closure of a Hofer (Aldi Austria) distribution center at the end of 2026.
