Alcohol tests in Marina di Ravenna: 53.7% over driving limit

A voluntary alcohol testing initiative in Marina di Ravenna on August 29 found that 53.7% of 434 participants exceeded the legal driving limit, including over half of the 87 minors tested. The checks were conducted by 14 national carabinieri association volunteers using three fixed testing stations, an information desk, and a mobile scooter patrol. The operation was part of a collaboration between local police, private security, and the association. Participants came from diverse backgrounds, with 47.9% residing in Ravenna, 10.8% elsewhere in the province, and 41.2% from outside the province, highlighting the area's appeal to external visitors.
