Alchemy Global Solutions, co-founded by James Murdock in 2017, has grown rapidly, reaching nearly $1 billion in revenue. The company focuses on refurbishing and trading in electronic devices, addressing inefficiencies in the mobile phone trade-in process. In five years, Alchemy's annual revenue rose from $442 million to $711 million. The company has refurbished over six million devices, including smartphones and laptops, by partnering with manufacturers and retailers to streamline trade-in programs. Alchemy has expanded from Ireland to Europe, Asia, the US, and Dubai. The company emphasizes sustainability, significantly reducing carbon emissions by refurbishing devices instead of manufacturing new ones.
