Albanian inmate remains at large after escaping Korydallos prison

An Albanian inmate has escaped from Korydallos prison and remains at large for a second day. Two prison guards were arrested in connection with the escape, and authorities are investigating the possibility of an organized escape or assistance from accomplices. The inmate was working in bread transport when he disappeared. The 48-year-old was serving time for drug and weapons offenses, with a scheduled release in 2031. He had previously received three prison leaves, with another three-day leave granted early.
