Alappuzha ration shops face wheat flour shortage for blue and white cardholders

Ration shops in Alappuzha lack wheat flour for blue and white cardholders, despite its restoration this month. The food department failed to deliver stock of wheat flour, which was previously discontinued, to ration shops. This has led to cardholders returning empty-handed after being notified of its availability. Wheat flour was previously stopped for blue and white cardholders due to low wheat availability, with only yellow and pink cardholders receiving it. The district supply officer stated that wheat flour is expected to arrive on Monday.
