Akhilesh promises job guarantee for UP govt posts if SP wins 2027

Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav promised a job guarantee for government posts if his party wins Uttar Pradesh in 2027, outlining recruitment reforms including a transparent process and an annual exam calendar. Speaking at a programme in Lucknow, Yadav pledged to abolish the outsourcing system for permanent jobs, create a special force to prevent question paper leaks, and take stringent action against those responsible. He also linked employment to economic growth and called for university reforms. Yadav criticised the BJP government's development record and highlighted projects from his tenure, such as the Agra-Lucknow Expressway. He separately urged opposition alliances to prioritise winning elections over seat-sharing negotiations.
