Ajax, PSV Eindhoven, and Feyenoord completed a busy summer transfer window, with Ajax leading spending by securing Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen on loan and signing Brazilian forward Marcos Leonardo for €19.9 million. PSV brought Netherlands international Lutsharel Geertruida back to the Eredivisie on loan from RB Leipzig and signed Serbian winger Filip Kostic as a free agent, while Feyenoord re-signed English winger Reiss Nelson permanently and added Belgian midfielder Charles Vanhoutte on a three-year contract.
