Aisuru botnet launches record 29.7 Tbps DDoS attack

The Aisuru botnet launched a record-breaking 29.7 terabits per second distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attack in the third quarter of 2025. This massive botnet, estimated to control millions of compromised devices, offers DDoS attack services for hire. It has conducted over 1,300 attacks this year, with a significant portion being hyper-volumetric. Aisuru targets various sectors, and its attacks can disrupt internet infrastructure even when not directly aimed at specific providers.
