Airbus secures 118 helicopter commitments at VERTICON 2025

Airbus Helicopters concluded the 2025 VERTICON event with 118 commitments for its helicopters, including 63 firm orders. The H140, a new multi-mission helicopter, received over 74 commitments, primarily from emergency medical services operators in the U.S. and Europe. The H160 began commercial offshore operations with PHI Aviation for Shell, while New York State Police ordered one H160 and three H145 helicopters. Brazilian operator Omni signed a contract for HCare services ahead of its operations for Petrobras. Airbus also showcased demo flights using sustainable aviation fuel with various helicopter models. Westair Helicopters and GDAT signed contracts for HCare services to support their H225 fleets in offshore energy and emergency missions.
