Airbus A350 marks 10 years of passenger service with top routes in Asia

The Airbus A350 marked its first passenger flight on January 15, 2015. Qatar Airways was the launch customer, but Singapore Airlines is now the largest operator. Qatar will soon add Vienna as its third European destination. In January 2025, Asia accounts for half of all A350 flights, with a focus on domestic and short-haul routes. The top routes include Tokyo to Sapporo and Hong Kong to Singapore, where the A350 operates 74% of flights. The Hong Kong-Singapore route is significant, with nearly two million roundtrip passengers in the past year. In January 2025, A350s will account for 344 of 462 total departures on this route, highlighting its dominance in the market.
