Qantas' Project Sunrise has achieved a key milestone with the first flight of the Airbus A350-1000ULR, designed for ultra-long-haul routes. The aircraft is being developed for non-stop flights connecting Sydney with London and New York, expected to enter service in 2027. This development aims to redefine global air travel with extended range and improved passenger comfort for journeys up to 22 hours.
