Airbus A320 family dominates December flights at London Heathrow Airport

London Heathrow Airport is set to handle 39,527 flights this December, with the Airbus A320 family dominating the traffic. The A320 series accounts for over 56% of flights, totaling 22,146 scheduled operations. British Airways is the largest operator of the A320 family, with 15,029 flights. The Boeing 777 and 787 families follow, with 5,123 and 4,297 flights scheduled, respectively. British Airways also leads in these categories. The Airbus A380 will see 1,200 flights this month, primarily operated by British Airways and Emirates. Other aircraft families, including the Boeing 737 and 767, have fewer than 1,000 flights scheduled, highlighting the A320's significant presence.
