Airbus A320 deliveries will surpass Boeing 737's soon

As of early 2025, Boeing has delivered approximately 11,965 737s, while the A320 family has delivered around 11,885 aircraft. Airbus's production is increasing, with plans to deliver about 900 A320s annually by 2027, outpacing Boeing's recovery. Boeing's 737 production has faced challenges, including the grounding of the 737 MAX and supply chain issues. In contrast, Airbus has maintained a steady delivery rate, positioning the A320 family to become the most delivered commercial jet in history.
