Air Force partners with MyRadar for advanced weather forecasting technology
MyRadar has received a $74,449 contract from AFWERX to develop short-term weather data for the Air Force. This initiative aims to improve decision-making in rapidly changing weather conditions for military operations. The contract is part of a broader effort by the Department of the Air Force to streamline the Small Business Innovation Research program. This program has been in place since 2018, allowing for more innovative solutions from small businesses. MyRadar plans to provide real-time weather intelligence to enhance mission planning. This includes both immediate and short-term forecasts to support military personnel in the field.
