AIIMS Bilaspur workshop adds patient voices to health research

A three-day qualitative research workshop began at AIIMS Bilaspur, organized with the National Academy of Medical Sciences (India), aiming to integrate patient experiences and social factors into health research. Executive Director Lt. Gen. (Dr.) Daljit Singh inaugurated the event, emphasizing that understanding diseases requires more than statistics. The workshop trains 22 participants on gathering, analyzing, and applying experiential and behavioral data to improve healthcare services. Experts from PGIMER Chandigarh, Delhi University, and the Institute of Public Health, Bengaluru are providing training. The first day concluded with a post-test and certificate distribution.
