AI-fitted personalized lenses and CRT lenses improve orthokeratology fitting and visual quality in myopic children with corneal asymmetry

AI-fitted personalized lenses and CRT lenses showed better centration and controlled higher-order aberrations more effectively in myopic children with corneal asymmetry. The study found AI-fitted personalized lenses and CRT lenses had less decentration than conventional vision shaping treatment (VST) lenses. Both lens types also demonstrated better control over increases in specific aberrations. This research evaluated orthokeratology lens fitting and visual quality in 139 myopic children with corneal asymmetry, comparing different lens types over one month.
