After Berlin struggles, Summer Terenzi found dyslexia help in London

Summer Terenzi, daughter of singers Sarah Connor and Marc Terenzi, revealed she has dyslexia in the documentary “Born Famous,” describing years of feeling stupid before finding proper support in London. Struggling since fourth grade, she thought classmates mocked her during dictations. Her mother said few in Berlin understood dyslexia, causing a “hellish time.” After her stepfather insisted on graduating, Summer moved to an English music boarding school, where teachers adapted lessons to her needs. She graduated with music, music production, and theater, which qualifies her for music universities. Most importantly, Summer said she felt “smart” and trusted her abilities for the first time at that school.
