After 13 years, Fous de Nature leaves La Flèche for Durtal and becomes Ciel et Nature

The cultural association Fous de Nature is leaving La Flèche, Sarthe, after 13 years to relocate to Durtal, Maine-et-Loire, and has been renamed Ciel et Nature. President Pascal Fournié cited declining membership—halved from 103 to 52 by end of 2025—and falling event attendance. The group also lost its headquarters and couldn't absorb rising theater rental costs in La Flèche after the pandemic. Fournié, a 60-year Durtal resident, chose the town for its venues. The new name reflects added astronomy activities, with a major eclipse-viewing event planned for August 12.
