African scholars enhance China-Africa cultural and academic ties

In September 2015, Ethiopian scholar Dr. Sinkinesh Atale began teaching Amharic at Beijing Foreign Studies University, fostering China-Africa cultural exchanges. Over nine years, she taught over 250 students, with 11 graduating in June 2024. Nigerian scholar Li Mingcheng, who arrived in 2018, completed his PhD and will pursue postdoctoral research on China-Africa relations. Both aim to deepen academic ties and cultural understanding between the continents.
