AFD invests €150M in Morocco's Southern Provinces
The French Development Agency (AFD) announced a 150 million euro investment plan for the Southern Provinces during a visit on Saturday. This financial commitment aims to support local development. The AFD's director-general stated the funding will likely be allocated to local authorities and public services. The investment follows meetings with regional and local officials, highlighting the agency's focus on the region's economic progress and job creation. The AFD delegation also toured infrastructure projects, including the Laâyoune port, and discussed cooperation with the OCP Group. This investment aligns with the region's development plan launched in 2015.
