Advent calendars sell out across Sweden

Parents are reporting that SVT's paper advent calendars are sold out in stores across Sweden. Many families are struggling to find the traditional physical calendars to accompany the daily broadcast of the "Tidstjuven" (Time Thief) Christmas calendar. Some parents have resorted to buying them secondhand or from social media. SVT states that production numbers are the same as last year and that stores can reorder if they run out, attributing the scarcity to the calendar's strong tradition.
