ADAC study reveals electric cars cost less to maintain than combustion engine vehicles

An ADAC study found electric cars are significantly cheaper to maintain than combustion engine vehicles. Electric vehicles cost about one-third less for inspections and maintenance compared to comparable gasoline or diesel cars, due to fewer complex parts. The study also revealed significant price variations based on workshop location and surprisingly higher hourly rates for electric car servicing at many garages.
