Actor bitten by snake during "White Lotus" Thailand filming

The director of photography for "The White Lotus" revealed that actor Walton Goggins was bitten by a non-venomous snake during a scene in season three. The scene, featuring a snake show in Thailand, was meticulously planned and storyboarded due to the use of real snakes. Despite the planning, Goggins, who is afraid of snakes, was bitten during filming. The crew used careful lighting techniques to film the scene, including colored gels and fluorescent lights. A prosthetic leg was used for a cobra bite later in the scene.
