90-year-old woman graduates from Southern New Hampshire University after decades-long journey
Annette Roberge, a 90-year-old woman from New Hampshire, received her Associate's Degree at Southern New Hampshire University's largest fall commencement. She first enrolled in 1972 but paused her education to raise her five children after her husband was killed in Vietnam. After reaching out to the university in 2017, Roberge discovered she had enough credits to graduate. She resumed her studies just before her 90th birthday and celebrated her achievement with family and fellow graduates at the ceremony. Roberge, now a grandmother of 12 and great-grandmother of 15, expressed her joy at the milestone. She is considering pursuing a bachelor's degree online, encouraging others to pursue their dreams despite challenges.
