90-year-old woman graduates from Southern New Hampshire University

Annette Roberge, a 90-year-old woman from New Hampshire, received her Associate's Degree at Southern New Hampshire University's largest fall commencement. She began her education in 1972 but paused to raise her five children after her husband was killed in Vietnam. In 2017, Roberge contacted the university to complete her degree. She discovered she had enough credits to graduate, which she achieved just before her 90th birthday. Her son escorted her across the stage, where she received a warm reception from the audience. Roberge is now considering pursuing a bachelor's degree online. She encourages others to pursue their dreams, stating that determination can lead to success.
