7-Eleven Philippines expands digital payments to 98% of stores

7-Eleven in the Philippines is nearing a full cashless rollout, with 98% of its stores now accepting digital payments. This significant expansion of digital payment acceptance began last August and aligns with a growing trend of Filipinos moving away from cash transactions. Digital payments currently represent 7% of customers and 12% of sales. The company is investing in technology to enhance customer experience and plans to add Apple Pay support soon, alongside existing credit, debit, and Google Pay options.
