53 Restaurants, Including Michelin-Listed, Open Gourmet Festival in Okayama City

A gourmet food festival featuring 53 restaurants from Okayama Prefecture and beyond, including Michelin Guide-listed establishments, opened October 10 at Mori no Machi Grace in Okayama City. The event, "THE MARKET…," brings together restaurants and bakeries from inside and outside the prefecture, offering grilled steak from Michelin-listed venues, plus hamburgers and spare ribs from famous out-of-prefecture shops, drawing large crowds. Organizers note that having such a diverse range of eateries in one place is rare, allowing visitors to enjoy food and drink from across Japan without traveling. The event runs through October 11.
