4 Possible Fates for La'an in Star Trek: Strange New Worlds

Fans widely expect Lieutenant La'an Noonien-Singh to die in Star Trek: Strange New Worlds' final season, but the show has several alternative fates for the character. Her absence from Star Trek: The Original Series has long fueled speculation about her demise. La'an could join the Department of Temporal Investigations, a secret Starfleet agency, to explain her disappearance from the timeline. Alternatively, she might transfer to another starship, possibly serving under her friend Commander Una Chin-Riley, or join Division 12 as a secret agent. The character's survival is also hinted by her new dog, Runa, in season 4. Her complicated romances with Captain Kirk and Spock could explain why neither mentions her in the original series.
