24 superbillionaires now defined with over $50 billion

A new category called "superbillionaires" has emerged, defining individuals with a net worth of $50 billion or more. As of February, there are 24 superbillionaires, whose combined wealth totals $3.3 trillion, accounting for over 16% of all billionaire wealth. Elon Musk leads the list with a net worth of $419.4 billion, followed by Jeff Bezos and Bernard Arnault. Notably, 16 of the 24 superbillionaires are centi-billionaires, each worth at least $100 billion. The list includes prominent figures like Larry Ellison, Mark Zuckerberg, and Bill Gates. Only three women are among the superbillionaires: Julia Koch, Francoise Bettencourt Meyers, and Alice Walton.
