22-year-old man faces court over online child sex offences in Northern Ireland

A 22-year-old man, Cameron Mullen, has been charged with multiple online child sex offences, including sexual communication with minors and blackmail. He appeared in Dungannon Magistrates' Court via video link from custody. Mullen was arrested in Toome after police received reports from the mothers of two boys who alleged he sent sexual messages and explicit images. The court heard police can connect him to the charges. Bail was denied by the judge, who deemed Mullen "extremely dangerous" and a risk to public safety. The case will return to court on January 22.
