"12 Angry Toys" teaches Cairo children that difference is strength

The children's play "12 Angry Toys" will be performed at the Nihad Saliha Theater at the Academy of Arts in Cairo on Friday, September 4, at 8 PM, offering a theatrical experience about justice and accepting others. The play transforms toys into members of a "Supreme Toys Court" facing a major trial, where young heroes discover that difference is a strength that builds friendship and understanding. It is the result of a training workshop supervised by Michael Refleh and Jasmin Ahmed, featuring child actors. The production includes lighting by Waleed Darwish, set design by Samah Nabil, and direction by Refleh and Ahmed. The play invites both children and adults to reflect on the value of diversity and the importance of listening to others.
