10-year-old boy in Jaipur receives blood transfusions as health improves

The child, who has kidney disease and pneumonia, remains on ventilator support, but his lung function is improving. He is also undergoing peritoneal dialysis, with his serum creatinine levels decreasing from 8.5 mg/dl to 3-4 mg/dl. An investigative committee is reviewing the incorrect blood transfusion that occurred on December 5. They are examining medical reports and collecting statements from family members about the blood sample procedures. The committee's report is expected on Monday.
