Enhanced US-Japan military cooperation announced to counter China

During a White House state visit, President Biden and Japanese PM Kishida announced enhanced military cooperation to counter China. Agreements include joint command structure, air missile defense network with Australia, and a trilateral military exercise with the UK. The US and Japan have about 70 defense cooperation agreements, focusing on technology, economy, and nuclear fusion. Japan aims to be the first non-American on a US moon mission.
