Summary: A coalition of about two dozen countries, including the U.S. and the U.K., is working to secure the Red Sea as Iranian-backed Houthi militants continue attacks on international shipping. About 15 commercial ships have been damaged since mid-November. China, despite being a major player in Red Sea trade, has not joined the coalition.
