xAI finance chief departs after months

xAI's finance chief, Mike Liberatore, has reportedly departed the company after only a few months in the role. Liberatore, who joined in April, left around the end of July. His departure occurs as xAI faces increased competition from major AI players like OpenAI, Google, and Anthropic. Liberatore was involved in xAI's recent $5 billion debt raise and a separate $5 billion equity investment to fund AI development and its Grok platform.
