A 24-year-old woman died after being left for an hour in a hospital corridor with an unconnected oxygen mask. Clarissa Street was admitted to Royal Oldham Hospital with symptoms of a pulmonary embolism. An inquest heard she was given an oxygen mask not connected to anything and was initially thought to be having a panic attack. Street, who had a history of pulmonary embolism and DVT, died on August 14, 2024. The inquest is ongoing.
