Western Aude hosts October Rose events for breast cancer awareness

October Rose events in western Aude will feature concerts, sports challenges, charity walks, prevention actions, and a fundraising meal to raise breast cancer awareness and support the fight against the disease. Following yesterday's Pink Présidial evening at the Lauragais Museum, a Gospel concert takes place today at 4:30 p.m. at the Théâtre des Trois Ponts. Pink & Go runs October 10-11 with a 24-hour sports challenge and a solidarity hike in Villasavary. A Women's Day at the hospital on October 14 offers health screenings, followed by prevention actions on October 17 and a breast cancer day on October 23. The month ends October 24 with AVA's Grand repas d'Octobre Rose, with proceeds funding cancer research.
