Wayne Rooney will be Match of the Day pundit

The former Manchester United and England star will join Mark Chapman, Gabby Logan, and Kelly Cates on the BBC's flagship football show. Rooney's contract includes a potential two-year extension and World Cup punditry. This move comes after Lineker's exit from the show. Rooney, who was recently sacked as Plymouth manager, has previously worked as a pundit for the BBC and Sky Sports.
