USMNT opens 2030 World Cup cycle with friendlies vs Peru, Chile, Mexico, Canada

The US men’s national team will open its 2030 World Cup cycle with four home friendlies in September and October, facing Peru, Chile, Mexico, and Canada. The matches mark the first action under head coach Mauricio Pochettino’s new contract through 2030. The USMNT plays Peru on 26 September in Orlando, Chile on 29 September in St Louis, Mexico on 3 October in Glendale, Arizona, and Canada on 6 October in St Paul, Minnesota. All games will air on TNT, HBO Max, Telemundo, Universo, and Peacock. The friendlies follow the team’s run to the World Cup round of 16 this summer and are held in cities that did not host tournament matches. The 2030 World Cup will take place in Spain, Portugal, and Morocco.
