Ukrainian military units lose independent recruit training rights after inspections

Eight Ukrainian military units lost their right to independently train recruits following May inspections. Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi announced this decision after reviewing the results of checks conducted in 72 military units. The goal is to ensure consistent, high-quality training standards for all new soldiers. This measure is part of ongoing efforts to improve the military's training system, enhance the adaptation of mobilized personnel, and prevent desertion.
